Past Memories, Dagenham

A Memory of Dagenham.

Hi, born in 1941 and lived at 5 Downing Road. I attended Arnol Road School, then Gorsbrooke, would love to hear from old friends' Chris Case, Teddy Martin, Alf Cornell to name a few. Cannot remember to much. Mum and dad both worked at Fords. Headmaster at Arnld Road was Mr Benfeild. Dagenham was a great place to live/grow up in. Recall the wreck, neat place to get gruby in, stood on bridge as steam train went by; mum went nuts about smell even if we denied being there. Will try to recall more, but my Bipolar does not help very much. Moved to Australia in 1954, then went to New Zealand in 1966..still there and loveing it. Regards, Tom
