Churchgate Hotel, Old Town

A Memory of Harlow.

I have very happy memories of working at this hotel many years ago but have lost contact with the friends I had there. My first introduction to good food was from Bill the chef, and his daughter Yvonne made delicious puddings. She became a good friend and her family took care of me when I most needed it. I was also bridesmaid to Sue and Andrew, she too became a friend. I think it was one of the better passages in my life.
