Harrowfield Boys School

A Memory of Harold Hill.

In 1958 the school had a trip to Rome for the Olympics. We also had a week on the Foudroyant, a ship harboured in Portsmouth Harbour. Remember we rowed to the IoW in a Whaler, (I think).

John... I went on that trip to Rome Olympics in 1960 with Harrowfields ... My friend and room mate was Jimmy Ventris... We were both 13 and the trip cost my Dad £28 for the 8 days... Great experience... Pete

I went on the Rome trip as well roomed with Peter Mcwilliam I remember the stuff up with the Trains in Ostend? and missing the Train back at Milan.
