Hatch End 1960 1978

A Memory of Hatch End.

I lived in Derwent Ave and went Grimsdyke School .I remember Mrs Swan im sure she was a Dinner lady had a son called Nigel .Im trying to remember the head teacher she was a lady was in Miss Forsyth??I should remember i was outside her office often enough🤣🤣 I was rather naughty whilst living in Hatch End.I remember the Launderette used to sit in there alot as teens as it was nice and warm .I remember Dels, go in there and spend 12p lunch money on 10 no6.Loads of Happy Memories .and some not so but great place to live growing up .I remember the shop in the hight street can not remember the name used to buy little trolls for pencils and little fluffy mice .And the Butchers shop used to go in there and get chickens feet and take them to school ,god i was a nightmare.That was Blackwell that became Hatch End High
