A Memory of Hornchurch.

Anyone remember the group, Algate Pump? They played at the Bull and all round the Romford area and East End, they played around the 1960's.

Some time in the 1960s the Bull underwent a refurbishment with a retro look that included fake wooden beams. These were made of chicken wire covered in sculpted plaster painted dark brown but after a while some of the plaster fell off revealing the wire.
