I went past 53 herbert road today it is now a house. I stoppped for a while good times remembered I also went to number 26 where my grandparents lived , now an empty house.

I can't believe I wouldn't know you, since that was my bungalow and my Dad built it. Doris and Jack Williams lived there with me until he died in 1943. Mum sold up and we emigrated to Toronto in 1953. Peter

The building that replaced my bungalow looks good. I'm coming back for another visit next month (July/Aug). So many changes to Hornchurch...have to keep coming back! Peter
