I used to live at the Talbot Inn. In fact, it was the one and only time I have ever had a ghostly experience, I loved the place. My Dad, was the Landlord. I cried when I found out they had demolished it in 2009. So many happy memories xxxxx

I have many fond memories of Illingworth and the Talbot. Used to be my local and mom and dad worked there part time. Had many friends who made the Talbot their local. Spent many hours in the place while on leave from the Royal Navy. Also got married in All Saints Church and had my reception in the Tudor Lounge of the the pub.. Great memories of a great pub.
