The partly Tudor Manor House is at the crossroads in the centre of the village, but at the east end is an equally fine house, Missenden House. Dated 1729 on a rainwater head its front with its flanking full-height bay windows is more window than wall. A most elegant composition with an equally elegant limousine parked outside.
