A Memory of Collyhurst.

Does anyone remember Lizzie Tinker who lived in Nicolson Street, and Annie Reid? Lizzie's children; Mary, John, Fred, Madge and Ethel. Annie's children; Billy and Sylvia. Mary's children are; Gloria, Jimmy, Anne, David and Elaine (Casson). Lizzie lived at 77 Nicolson Street, Mary lived near The Mechanics pub.

Hello, I remember Elizabeth Tinker and Gloria Casson. We went to school together, me and Gloria, Elizabeth was older than us. I lived in Central Drive, Collyhurst. My mother and John Tinker were friends for a while. Best wishes - Christina (nee Smith)

Hello. I lived at 61 Nicholson St. a few doors down from the Tinker household. I remember playing with Fred and one of the girls, probably Mary going out with, and I think later marrying Jack Crompton the Man U goalkeeper in th 1948 team. We often saw him in the street.
