Holiday Fellowship At Cliff House, Marske By The Sea Early 1960s

A Memory of Marske-By-The-Sea.

One of my very first memories was of a family holiday spent at the HF Cliff House around 1961 - I would have been 4 years old and my brother Stephen maybe 18 months.
I remember looking forward to the best bit of the day - our picnic lunch, (and, to this day, a famous HF institution!) on the beach. But oh ... the disappointment I felt when I accidentally dropped my piece of fruit cake in the sand - I still recall the tears that were shed!
Over 60 years on, and I'm still enjoying walking holidays with HF, exploring the great outdoors in very good company!
