A Memory of Mountain Ash.

My maternal family hail from Mountain Ash, my paternal from Ogmore Vale. I always spent my school holidays 'going home', as my nan would say.I loved it, and go back each year now. I loved the ice-cream shop (it was Italian) and nan always bought me a knickerbocker glory - yum! Never saw them in England. Nan also took me to see Laurel and Hardy films at a big hall.
