Happy Memories Of Rankinston

A Memory of Rankinston.

My mom Flora was born in Rankinston 1922 one of many children born to Agnes and Walter Whiteside several of my aunt's and uncles also lived in the village until they died. Mom and I would often visit my aunt Madge and uncle Bob McConnel they lived in Kerse Terrace with my cousins John William and Ian I had so many happy holidays staying with them the fab countryside open spaces were so wonderfull as mom and dad had moved to the city I will never forget those holidays the sad thing is that I have so many cousins living in Ayr and I am not in touch with any of them I would love to share memories with them
