We'll south ockendon truly a magical place to grow up moved from west ham to ockendon 1969 lived clay burn gardens Went to mardyke school and later culver house memories well many playing in the woods /primrose hill /fishing mollands lane and ford place my paper round hated cycling up stifford hill to get my papers the summer 1976 playing and camping down bye the mardyke the woods I lived in those woods remember bonfire nights at clayburn gardens making the biggest fire u could imagine all the residents coming with food and drink lots of fireworks at great community spirit I could go on for ages and I do with my children about how I had the greatest childhood ever anyone remember me please get in contact Kevin lock postie64golf@yahoo.co.uk

Kevin, I recall Clayburn Gardens and the huge bonfires we use to build huge bonfires behind the flats, in front of the woods from which we would chop down trees.

I left 95 Clayburn Gardens in 1968 when I went to university and my parents moved to Dagenham in 1969, so our paths would not have crossed
