Southall 1940s 70s
A Memory of Southall.
My dad grew up on Saxon road and went to school in southall his name was Tom Maguire anyone grow up around Southall at the same time or remember him? He use to do boxing I would like to find out the name of the boxing club around that time if anyone remembers it? Thank you :)

I worked in the stores along side a David Quick, whonif memory serves serves me right was a big Brentford supporter, bet he is glad now. A lovely young girl who was one of the typists named Fiona Calder-Horey (miss spelt, it's been a long time) but not to long that I remember she meant a lot to me.
Also an older gentleman named Tom, he worked in the sales office. Tom had only one leg and would often give me a lift to Southall Station. I would also catch a number 52 bus to Ealing Broadway to change to a 112 to get back home to Wembley.
