Harringtons

A Memory of Splott.

Does anyone remember the Harringtons who lived on Enid Street. After the deaths of their parents the newly married Esther Withers (the eldest daughter) and her husband Tom took on the five children orphaned and raised them with their own baby daughter. My dad, Chrissie was one of those children. You might remember him singing with his brother Timmy and playing baseball for "the buns". Sadly Chrissie passed away in 2013 but he was Splott and St Albans all his life.
