does anyone remember stanford hall when sir julian cahn owned it,my mother was a maid in the house when the war was on.

What was your mother's name? I wrote a book about Julien Cahn (book title: The Eccentric Entrepreneur) and did a lot of research into life at Stanford Hall. Cahn died in 1944 - was your mother there before that time?
