A Memory of Stowmarket.

Mr Oby Barber was the manager this is were i learned to swim in 1946 in the small pool.it was not heated then in May it was-------cold but we still went in if mums would let us.

Does anyone know what the large White House is called on the corner on tavern street? It was derelict when I was a kid early 80s but then converted into a care home. I’d like to find a bit of history on the place - always had an interest in it
