Memories of Swindon
I remember when I was little going to Coate water, feeding the ducks and having picnics with my family. Those were the days! :)
I remember straight ahead of you there was a shop that sold Tobacco it had a statue outside.
We moved to Swindon in 1957 from London (Wimbledon, actually) when my dad, a skilled engineer, got a job at Vickers Armstrongs at South Marston, with a brand new council house thrown in.
