I am wondering if anyone remembers this shop at 113 Beulah Road, right opposite the school? I am trying to find some pictures of the outside of the shop as obviously now it has been replaced with flats. The reason I ask? From 1968 to 1977 it used to be my home and the shop run by my parents. If anyone has any pictures maybe you could please email me david.richards27@yahoo.co.uk Many thanks David
I knew Thornton Heath very well, from the early 1950’s through to the end of the 1960’s. Shopping with my parents at Woolworths (opposite the clocktower) and then round the corner into the high street for the smaller shops. I was born in Croydon in the mid 1950s and lived for while with my grandma in Ecclesbourne Road; the top end near where it joins Bensham Lane. There was a general store at the very top called Hart's. I know that when I was young there was a sweet factory around the corner in Bert Road but I can't remember what it was called. Can anyone help? Thank you, Julie
Lived in Osborne rd opposite the church brings back fond mems seeing the pond as it use to be and the old clock does anyone remember the nursery before they put flats on it
