More about this scene

Traditional Norfolk cottages with thatched roofs and flint walls are built on the edge of a large village green: this kind of green-edge or common-edge settlement is characteristic of Norfolk. As its name suggests, this tiny village once had a market; although trading ceased centuries ago, it is still possible to make out the shape of the Market Place.
