Round the corner another mate,Kenneth Gordon.
Hi Alan,
My name is John Maskell I lived in High Cross Road and my Nan lived in the last house on the other side of the road next to the Grocers on the corner. I think you lived next to the Russell's who were related to the Maskell's of High Cross Road. I went to Down Lane juniors and Page Green before I left Tottenham and I am pretty sure I use to go to School with a relation of yours, Janet. My Granddad and Bert were in competition in those days as they both had businesses with Horses and carts.
Glad to hear you are still around, Keep Breathing and remember me to your relation Janet..
Kind Regards
John Maskell
I am a Russell decendent I may be related to someone you knew, my whole family are from that area

Does anyone remember in the early to mid 60's a public house, used as a home on Welbourne road, Tottenham hale....
The Russells did they include, Brian, Terry, Mick, Alan, Debbie, Doreen, Cheryl ?
Just sitting with my auntie Janet (nee Simpson) showing her the owners of the web, when we came across the Welbourne road posts, her cousin Alan and all those others whose names and faces she remembers so fondly. Has made her day to see she has been remembered too xx
Hi, My name is John Maskell and I knew Janet Simpson I lived in High Cross Road. I was rather fond of Janet but at the time we were too young for it to be anything serious. The last time I saw Janet was at a dance in the Co-Op hall on the corner of Bury Street, Edmonton. If I remember rightly Elkie Brooks and Julie Grant were supplying the entertainment. I would just like to say a Big Hello to Janet and hope she is keeping well.
