I loved my time at Warnham Court, I was there between 1956 to 1958 as best as I can remember. I have great memories of teachers and friends and the activities we took part in. It was a completely different life to what I had and will always cherish the wonderful memories I have.

I have great memorys as a kid, we moved to 11 Church Street in 1971, my dad taught me to ride a bike on the footpath the side of the vicar's house opposite the church where my dear old nan is. My dad Roger Stapley still lives in the village. My dad was a farmer who worked for the late Mr Lucas. My grandad Vern also still lives in the village, he used to work the farm in Church Street which is now a posh housing estate, such a shame. Such great memories, I wish I could go back just for one day. You're welcome to email me if you know my dad or grandad or wish to share your memories, thanks, Mark.

Hi, my name is Alan Sims, it could have been Morgan in 1953, I was there for two terms, I cannot remember too many names, Mr and Mrs Savage, so gentle after a tyrant of a teacher in London. I remember the Young Farmers Club and playing football on Front Court. My fondest memory was helping the woodwork teacher to finish buiding the stage in the hall, then one day he took me over to the piano and asked me to sing 'The Eings of a Dove', I was so shy but I had a go, then he said "You're in the next show as the crippled boy", I often think of him and thank him for his help. There's only a few names I remember in that show, a Miss Fowler, we used have some laughs about her boyfriend, I recall some thing about some keys in his pocket, then Miss Fox who had asthma like myself, and I think a Terry, it could be Bowler but I'm not... Hi, I remember Michael Lambert, Eric Cook, John Vosper, Bill and David. Me and Michael Lambert were in pantomime together. I was in Mr Macley's class and Miss William's class. I also remember Mr Savage the Headmaster. It was about 1963 and I remember my first day and as I walked out of the first meeting I can remember Mr Savage saying to Michael Lambert to look after Len and we were friends from that day on. I remember Eric Cook's nickname was WEED. They were the happiest days of my school years. I also remember being in the Black and White Minstrel Show even though I was tone deaf. And Mr Tows the woodwork teacher who lived in the village. Happy Days. I was in Bodiam for my first 2 years then I was in Lewes House.

Hello, my name is Elaine Pierson, it was Elaine Williams when I was at Warnham Court School. I was there for my special dietary needs. I can remember a boy called John Walls and he had a cousin there called Terry Gascoinge and also there was my friend called Susan Chattaway, she lived in Fulham in Clem Atlee Court with her mum, we made our holy communion together in Horsham parish church. I think John lived over east London. Mr King was the headmaster when I was there and there was a teacher called Mr Cooper. If anyone remembers me please get in contact. I am married with 2 children of my own, a son who is 23 and a daughter who is 21. I would love to here from anyone who remembers me, thanks.
