Competition?

Yes I remember this competition..It was part of "Welling Week" Lots of shops took part,so it took a long time!! There was also a pet competition at the cinema, I won a prize for bringing my tortoise and baby mouse!!

Yes my mother worked in a dress shop at the top of the high street and it used to be fun looking in all the shop windows to find the odd one out object
In the flat above the dress shop lived the singer Ivor emmanuel (he was in the film Zulu)
