Windsor Barracks
A Memory of Windsor.
My dad was a soldier in Windsor barracks in the 1950s. I was born in 1954 and when I was 5 went to Spital school across the road, which I loved. I loved living in the barracks too. There was no health or safety rules, we had complete run of the barracks and being around the horses. We then moved away. And I came back to live in Calvery crescent, joined to the barracks in 1966 and went to Trevelyan school. We then moved away again in 1968. I would love to hear from anyone else who lived in the barracks. Or was at Trevelyan school when I was there. Pat Dean who was in my class. Or Cherold and Susan Clay from the barracks.
