Many Memories.

A Memory of Bishopstoke

I too remember the Fish and Chip shop in the 1950's, walking by the Barge, going to school and also being scared of Mr Collis the caretaker, walking to Stoke Park Woods, ringing the Church Bells for services and practice on Monday evenings. Although I lived on Church Road, I loved to walk Spring Lane. It was so quiet. I have many very happy memories of Bishopstoke and friends that I still correspond with even though I have been in America since the mid 1960's. It was a great place to call home.
