I lived at no.3 Naccolt cottages 1940/45 and walked every day to Brook school and remember well the Ms Avery and Cooling , these were the best years of my childhood -- and learnt a lot too ! My earliest memories must have been around 1958 when I started school at Brook CP school at the top of Spelders Hill. There were two teachers; Miss Archer and Miss Cooling. My family lived in Natslane in a bungalow designed by my father. My maiden name was Elliott.
