Miss Mawson

Miss Mawson died in 2011 and was an infant teacher at Burton in Lonsdale C of E Primary School. She had a teaching assistant called Mrs Willson. They were both very kind and caring people but now Miss Mawson is replaced by Mrs Gill.

I went to Burton school from 1951 till 1954 and enjoyed evry minute of it, the head master was called Mr Watson I remember.

I was a child at Burton School, it was great. I moved in year 3, it was scary. I moved to Bentham, I hated it, there was loads of children and it was much bigger.
