Floral Gardens Penperlleni Goytrey

I noticed a memory about Violet Fryer and Herbert Morgan. I often stayed with my grandparents, Artie and Floss Messenger, and they used to know people of that name. Our house was called Floral Gardens. It was their livelihood - selling fruit, vegetables, eggs, milk, wreath-making, flowers,etc. At times they kept pigs, chickens, geese, sheep , cows and bees. My Childhood Heaven

In the late 1800's my Grandmother's sister, Minnie came from Bristol to work at Goytre House. She was soon followed by another sister Hannah and my grandmother Annie both of whom worked at Maesyberrin, the doctor's house in Goytre village.
