Family
My name is Philip Beach- my Grandmother hails from Inverness. Her maiden name was Isabel Martin, born about 1890, her sister's name (married) was Euphemia Archibald who lived to be 101 in my hometown of Rochester, NY USA. Isabel married Powlus (or Paulus) Beach, and moved to Nova Scotia, Canada in the mid 19 teens. They had 6 children- 5 girls and a boy, my father Charles Osker Beach. I currently live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and I am 50 years old. Does anyone have a memory of my family?

I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been trying to find some imformation on Isabelle for some time now.. after Powley (known here as ) left for overseas and the States little of his family is known.. Isabelle was his second spouse.. Would you be willing to share some family info please. Powley was my 4th cousin.. I do have a list of children from his marriage to Isabelle and some spouses but not much more.. I have a vast database on his family.. I have Charles Oscar-Oct 16,1921-Sydney, NS-Sept. 2 2004-Fort Myers, FL... (Spouse Unknown). Have you as 1957- Would be great to hear from you..been working 6 years on family tree..

Hi,
I'm Amy Brown. Isabel Beach and Powlus were my great grandparents. My grandmother, Jesse Maude Salta was their second oldest daughter.
Philip, is my mother's first cousin.
I was trying to find some information on the Beach family and Grandma's family in Inverness Scotland when this popped up. I knew Grandma Beach fairly well, she passed on when I was 16 years old and for quite a while lived with my grandparents.
I know Grandma Jessie had a half sister that lived in Canada. I think her name was Ida.
I'd love any information you had on the family history or if I can answer any questions Philip didn't.

Jessie Salata was maried previously to my grandfather, James "Chic" Meehan who died in 1949. My mother's maiden name was Isabelle Jean Meehan. You may already have the correction, but just in case you didn't. Thanks Amy
