A Memory of Loughton.

My dad Len Bayford had the barbers shop in Forest Road. I was born in 1948 and he died in 1955. My brother Mike came out of the army and took over the shop.

my brother was Ramon Sabey and worked for Len Bayford in Forest Road. My name was Marlene Sabey and I lived in Forest Road.

How lovely to see the comment from you Maureen. We wanted to try and get in touch with your family when Michael passed away this January. I remembered your dads name. I remember going into the shop and talking to him when I was small. I think he stayed with Mike for a while after dad died and then opened a shop of his own? Kind regards to you Maureen.
