Ferry At Hullbridge
A Memory of Romford.
Hi I am writing this in the hope that someone will be able to help me, I was doing some research for myself on Hullbridge when I came across a memory written by Mike Atkins he and Terry Groom were the last persons to run the ferry in Hullbridge. Now where this caught my eye was when he said he had married the grand daughter of Mr & Mrs Makin of Shell Cottage. well I too was a grand daughter of Mr & Mrs Makin, and what I am hoping is that someone would be able to help me find Carol and Mike Atkins or their children Amanda and I believe Peter. I am the foster child of Mr & Mrs Marshall and my name was Yvonne Marshall now Yvonne Bourne Mr & Mrs Marshall was the Makin's daughter. I so hope that somebody out there can help me.
