Rivermede School

Beeston was one of a series of fortresses built by Rannulf de Blundeville, Earl of Chester and Lincoln.
For centuries the Thames has played a part in Benson's history.
The shops on the left are Lewis Bros, Madge Evans, the Dorothy Restaurant and Beestons, the tobacconist's; Wildes, Cash Clohting and Press's, 'the fish and game dealer', are on the right.
