More about this scene

This pleasant village has a farm and a church. The rest of the village is to the south. The driver of the Triumph Herald 1200 patiently waits, with his window wound down, for his wife to post a letter and buy a newspaper. In 1965 a brand new one of these, complete with walnut fascia, cost £592-8s-9d at Sparshatts, Castle Way, Southampton.
