Happy Days
A Memory of Hartshead Pike.
When I was young my mum used to take me up to Hartsthead pike I used to love seeing the pigs next to the pub that's now a home , it always seemed magical to me as I child , Then I had a child of my own who I would take up to the Pike , I would give her so many different options of where we could go for the day , she would always say Harstead Pike come rain , sun or snow , she also loved going and thought it was magical , now my daughters 20 and lives away from home studying , I have a little dog and I still walk up to the Pike so does my daughter we always feel safe up there and can gather our thoughts , when my daughter has a child I will take her / him up to Hartshead Pike ,if I an not here then I know my daughter will take her child there that would be 3 generations to go up to the pike ; and who knows how many of our families generations will go
