Hounslow, Memories Of Bulstrode Girls School
A Memory of Hounslow.
I too went to Hounslow town Junior school from age 7, then on to Bulstrode Girls School. Mrs Collins was head teacher. We had Mrs Johnstone for geography, Mrs Davies for English , Mrs Balls for history, miss Hull for science, Mrs Humphreys for sewing. Mrs Tyrrell was my favourite teacher, I remember her doing the Aldermaston March. She was lovely person she took us for current affairs. Miss Newbury was cookery teacher, oh how we played her up poor lady.
I was living in Hanworth Road from birth and attended Grove Road infant school. We then moved .
From age 7 I lived in Stanley Road and spent most of the summer in Inwood Park.
