I am not entirely sure of the year, but I am told that one of my great grandfather's brothers owned this Inn at one time. I would love to hear from anyone that can shed more light on this.

This place has special meaning for me as I used to travel the 150 miles to meet my very best friend here to eat and walk the river.  My health is not quite as it used to be and I have not been able to visit for some time now. I keep in touch with my friend but I have to say the happiest days of my life have been spent in Ely and I treasure every memory that I have. This place will always hold a special and chersihed place in my heart
