I was born at 58 Cathcart Street in 1941. I remember the Ainsleys, they lived opposite the Apters, Eric Apter the jockey was the son, about my age.

Mischelle Apter was my girlfriend when I was a kid, she was beautiful. We used to knock around by the Woodlands. Me and Peter Doyle, Billy Stedmond, Carl Stedmond, Trina Holland, Carol Hairworth and our Kevin......I also remember the Ainsleys.
