I Attended Here in The Late 50s And Early 60s
I remember St Marys when Mr Naylor if im right was the headmaster when i left to go to Longsands in 1962. At easter and Christmas we use to go to St Marys church opposite for services. There was some prefab classrooms at the back and you still had ink and milk monitors, i cannot remember the name of the teachers so if any one can please add them to this memory. Many thanks David Matzk age 56.

I suppose a nudge in the memory department will help you :-
Mrs Bygraves, Mrs Freestone, Miss Hammick (I think that was her name, a very pretty lady) Mrs Stocker.
Maybe you had Mr Green, he came a little later (I'm 5 or so years behind you) and a tall skinny baldheaded man who taught music. I'm struggling with his name at the moment.
I still see Mrs Naylor on the odd occasion.

I also attended this school in the 1950s. My mother had to come and help with an ill relation and we lived in Sittingbourne, Kent. I really enjoyed it but I cannot remember any names of teachers. I then had to go to school at Southoe hated, it warm milk! My cousins Karen and David Jackson went to Eynesbury School but that was later in the 1960s.

I also attended this school in the 1960s, from 1963 to 1969, I think before I moved up to Longsands. A teacher I remember that has not been mentioned before was Mr Rose. My dad started the Eynesbury Cubs and Scouts that met in the large building on the right of the picture. He was known as 'Barny'.
