I have just viewed many beautiful online pictures of old Rochdale. My memories only go back to the 1960's when I started work there but my mother shared her memories of days back to the 1920's or so. What a town to be proud of in the old days and what proud people Rochdalians were. I wish the same could be said of the town nowadays. So sad what has happened. As old age comes on I find looking at times gone by interesting , it does not seem to be something we take interest in when growing up, as the old story ask your relatives question about their life. Happy Christmas, keep the photos coming.

The photo arrived here in A1 condition 3 days ago. It's even better than I expected it to be and I'm so impressed with the photography and the really fast and convenient transatlantic transaction. It has been a very good experience as well as a good example of British business procedures and courteous customer service at it's very best.The photo of my former home; the old Rectory that my children and grandchildren have never seen is a treasure. The photo is even more special to me as my father's church was razed years ago and the Rectory was remodeled beyond recognition at the same time. Thanks to your photographic skills it will all live forever for me and my family.

Just to say thank you for the 3 framed pictures of old Pontefract, they are lovely just as I wanted and very quick delivery. I am retiring from 48 years in the NHS and I am donating them to the ward at Pontefract Hospital where I worked as a Nurse. They will be delighted and will cheer up many patients that remember that era.

Lovely quality for a photo taken 100 years ago
Wasn't sure how good the quality from a 100 year old neg would be, but the photo exceeded my expectations. Mounting and frame looked nice quality as well. The perspex was hard to differentiate from glass, apart from weight, so was an acceptable alternative. Arrived in good time and well packed. All in all very pleased and would recommend.

I was very excited to see this on your website to buy. My parents owned the village shop in the picture from the late 1950's (not sure what date) until 1965 when I was just under 2 years old. They sold your postcards in their shop and I still have some tucked away somewhere. They obviously were very involved in village life although both are now deceased. They used to talk very fondly about their time in Wetheral and the village characters. Thank you for making my Christmas with being able to purchase this item.
