I have just viewed many beautiful online pictures of old Rochdale. My memories only go back to the 1960's when I started work there but my mother shared her memories of days back to the 1920's or so. What a town to be proud of in the old days and what proud people Rochdalians were. I wish the same could be said of the town nowadays. So sad what has happened. I'm Just writing to let you know how absolutely delighted I am with my prints I spent many many happy holidays in Bourenmouth when I was a child in the 50s and 60s with my two brothers and parents. The two pictures I chose remind me of those happy days and the memories that will last forever. I still love visiting Bournemouth - it has to be my most favourite place on earth.
