I have just viewed many beautiful online pictures of old Rochdale. My memories only go back to the 1960's when I started work there but my mother shared her memories of days back to the 1920's or so. What a town to be proud of in the old days and what proud people Rochdalians were. I wish the same could be said of the town nowadays. So sad what has happened. Hi Thank you so much for the framed map of our 'home', it is lovely to be able to match the places in the area to those shown on our house deeds, we have these since the land was a field, just as shown in the map! I only ordered the map by via the website on Sunday evening, and it arrived Thursday morning, a lovely surprise - thank you.
