All 300,000 photographs in The Frith Collection have been scanned, but as the photos were taken over a 110 year period on a wide range of glass & film negatives, using different photographic processes, every image has to be checked and optimised, before we make a print for a customer.

As a student at Aber 1944-48 I used the Bing Kee (spelling as I remember it) laundry when I could afford it. Bing Kee and his wife seemed to be very old but there were two daughters (or possibly grand-daughters) of my generation. Does anyone remember Binky's Chinese laundry in South Road? I remember watching them washing the sheets by the geulan (spelling?) just by the river at the back of the shop.
Not much traffic.
