Two octogenarian parents are normally very difficult to buy for at Christmas, but they are highly appreciative of the quality of the picturs and find the subject matter evocative of their childhood days. I have just viewed many beautiful online pictures of old Rochdale. My memories only go back to the 1960's when I started work there but my mother shared her memories of days back to the 1920's or so. What a town to be proud of in the old days and what proud people Rochdalians were. I wish the same could be said of the town nowadays. So sad what has happened. Thank you so much for the marvellous pictures that have both made me smile and brought a tear or two. God bless you.

As old age comes on I find looking at times gone by interesting , it does not seem to be something we take interest in when growing up, as the old story ask your relatives question about their life. Happy Christmas, keep the photos coming.

Hi Thank you so much for the framed map of our 'home', it is lovely to be able to match the places in the area to those shown on our house deeds, we have these since the land was a field, just as shown in the map! I only ordered the map by via the website on Sunday evening, and it arrived Thursday morning, a lovely surprise - thank you. We are now going to pick out pictures for a jigsaw for my parents of the places they have lived in for the last 50 years! Kind Regards Janet
