More about this scene
Maltravers Street is one of Arundel's three main streets. Its ancient name was Chepynge Street. During the 18th century it was known as Old Market Street and was the site of Arundel's market, which is one of the most ancient privileges of the Borough. Cattle markets were later recorded in the Square at Arundel, but have long since been discontinued.
