Six years earlier than photograph 86654, the traffic signals are not in place, nor are the bollards painted white. Note Bridge Buildings, vantage point for the photographers who took some of the other photos of the Square. Most of the buildings are unchanged three quarters of a century later, although their use has altered. Lloyds Bank - to the right - is now a pub.
