More about this scene

This view of All Saints' Church looks from Park Road. The church was built on the site of the former coastguards' cottages; it was built in two stages - the first was consecrated in 1908 and the second in 1915 - a great deal of stone used for its construction was quarried locally. The gates of Barry Lawn Tennis Club are to the right, and on the junction of Harbour Road and St Nicholas Road stands Bethel Baptist Church.

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

I got married in All Saints Church, having lived in Barry all my life. It was a wonderful day and I remember the vicar wouldn't allow confetti to be thrown until we were outside on the pavement!!
