This hotel was built in 1890 by Thomas Walker, the main contractor for the building of Barry Docks, and was referred to by locals as 'Walker's Hotel'. Over the years it has had various owners, and very little maintenance took place; it is now (in 2002) Club Eze, and is in the process of being brought back to its original condition.

Hello, I am researching for a book about footballers who played for Tottenham Hotspurs in the thirties. I am particularly interested in Albert Hall who I believe was born in Cadoxton, Barry in 1918. I would like to get in touch with anyone who know stories about him or even any relations who would be willing to talk to me.
