Note the small monkey-puzzle tree in the foreground - this was one of the most popular of all exotic trees planted in parks in Victorian times. In the background a match is in progress on the tennis courts. The large wooded area behind the Grove (to the right in photograph 62549) is gradually getting smaller.

Hello, I am researching for a book about footballers who played for Tottenham Hotspurs in the thirties. I am particularly interested in Albert Hall who I believe was born in Cadoxton, Barry in 1918. I would like to get in touch with anyone who know stories about him or even any relations who would be willing to talk to me.
