It's Now 2017 And I'm 90 Years Old.

A Memory of Barry.

Time has passed quickly and over the years my brother, husband and son passed away. Wonderful memories return as I view this picture. My husband took part in the Penarth Gilbert and Sullivan production of Rudigore and later in Canada became the musical director of severaI local choirs e.g the Barbershoppers. I attended Glamorgan Teacher Training College in Barry, and after a three year training course got my teaching certificate at age 37(1964), and was a teacher in Canada for 10years.
I live in an apartment at the south end of Lake Huron where the lake flows into the St. Clair river and I overlook the Bluewater bridge that spans Canada and America. I see the ocean going ships going up and down the river as they enter and leave Lake Huron, with a lighthouse on the American(Port Huron) side.
The last time my husband and I were in Wales we were 75 and, with a little persuasion I got him to agree to walk around the cliffs from Caswell Bay to Langland Bay.
