Bathpool is now very much a suburb of Taunton, with the spread of the Somerset town on one side and the M5 motorway on the other. The Bathpool of a century ago was obviously a much quieter place with life lived at a slower pace. A young girl stands on the bridge - which no longer exists - watching the world go by.
